Will this event be recorded? Are attendees allowed to take photos or record audio and/or video at any point during the event?


This event WILL NOT be recorded. Just as with Monica's in-person events, ALL TYPES OF PHOTOGRAPHY ALONG WITH VIDEO AND/OR AUDIO RECORDING OF ANY KIND IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED during ANY portion of the event or while Monica is pulling cards (even if you or a member of your group are the ones receiving the messages). Any individual or group who attempts to violate this will be removed from the Zoom Meeting (without any refunds or ticket transfers) and will be subject to legal action. Please be aware that recording Monica without her consent is against the law. **The only exception to this is during Monica's introduction she will take a minute or two to provide the audience with an opportunity to take a quick screenshot photo / Zoom selfie photo or video. However, please wait until she's made the announcement that it is okay to do so. After that point, she will notify the audience that no further photography or recording of any kind will be permitted from that moment on.




Are infants or children permitted to attend this event?


Sorry, no infants or children under 15 years of age. Children 15 and older may join this Zoom event with a parent or guardian (but must still have their own ticket) however, please note that sensitive material, topics, and/or curse words often come up during these events.




Can I have my dog, baby, or anyone else in the room with me during the event?


For those who purchased a single ticket: you must be in a QUIET and PRIVATE room for the entire duration of the Zoom call with absolutely NO roommates, significant others, family, friends, babies/infants, children, **pets, or any other distractions in the same room as you or within earshot of your device (ie. even if we can't see them, you still can't have someone listening in on the event, as this opens the door to more Spirit potentially coming through and is both dishonest and unfair to Monica and those who purchased tickets). Anyone found violating this will be removed from the Zoom Meeting by a member of the MTM Team and would not receive any refunds or ticket transfers. For those who purchase multiple tickets: the number of individuals present in the room and behind your webcam must match up with the number of tickets purchased, and the ticket holders you check-in with must be the same people with you on the Zoom call for the entire event. You cannot swap out members of your group at any point throughout the event, or you'll be removed from the Zoom Meeting by a member of the MTM Team and would not receive any refunds or ticket transfers. You and the other ticket holders associated with your order must be together in a QUIET and PRIVATE room for the entire duration of the Zoom call with absolutely NO roommates, significant others, family, friends, babies/infants, children, **pets, or any other distractions in the same room or within earshot of you and the other ticket holders associated. **Exception: Monica is understanding of those who require an emotional support or service animal in the room, however, please be aware that should you end up being selected to receive some individual angel or oracle card messages from Monica, you'll be required to unmute your microphone, and in the event that your furry friend starts barking or creates any other disruptions, this can significantly affect Monica's ability to tune into any intuitive messages that may come through as she's pulling cards.




I'm not very computer savvy. Is this going to be a problem?


Ticket holders MUST be able to use Zoom proficiently. If you are someone who has trouble navigating computers / modern technology, this event may not be the right fit for you. All attendees are responsible for familiarizing themselves with Zoom and making sure that they have a reliable internet connection / Wifi for this event as well as a fully charged or plugged in laptop, computer, or mobile device with the Zoom application pre-downloaded in order to join the Zoom meeting. You'll have the best experience / full functionality by downloading Zoom (and don’t worry, it's free!) rather than selecting the option that allows you to join via your web browser. All ticket holders must also have working video/audio capabilities in order to attend (ie. you must have a built-in or plugged in webcam and microphone) and must adhere to the other terms and conditions listed on this page and that are agreed to upon checking out. Additionally, ticket holders will have to correctly follow the check-in instructions (which will be emailed 48-72 hours prior to the event) in order to be admitted into the Zoom Meeting. If you do not or can not follow all of the requirements or if you are not tech savvy enough to figure out how to use Zoom, please DO NOT purchase tickets to this online event.




I live in another country. Can I still purchase tickets?


Yes! However, please be aware that the entire event is in English and there are no written or verbal translations (so you must be proficient in understanding/speaking English). In addition, all of the virtual events are scheduled in PT (Pacific Time Zone) and therefore depending on where you live, some of these live events could be taking place in the middle of the night. Please double check the time difference prior to purchasing tickets to ensure you'll be able to attend, as all ticket sales are non-refundable and non-transferable to any other event.




Is there a call-in or audio-only option for attending this event? Or will I be required to have my video turned on the whole time?


No, there will NOT be a call-in or audio-only option for this event. With exception of quick emergency bathroom breaks and the 15-minute intermission about halfway through the event, you and any other ticket holders associated with your order must have your video TURNED ON and must be visibly present behind your webcam (with decent lighting so we can see you) for the entire duration of the Zoom call, otherwise you'll be removed from the Zoom Meeting and will not receive any refunds or ticket transfers. Though your video must be TURNED ON, all attendees will remain ON MUTE for the entire duration of the event unless Monica specifically asks you to unmute yourself (however, Monica will almost always be the one to manually mute and unmute attendees whom she's pulling cards for). For single-ticket holders, please plan on wearing headphones/earbuds or having them readily available during the event, as this will help with reducing audioback feedback in the event that Monica unmutes your microphone.




How many people will be in attendance?


These virtual events will typically have somewhere between 150-250 people in attendance (though some Zoom events could be slightly larger than that, as the absolute max capacity is limited to 275 total attendees per event).




How easy to follow are the check-in instructions that will be emailed to ticket holders 48-72 hours prior to the event?


The check-in instructions that will be emailed 48-72 hours prior to the event are fairly easy to follow, especially if you're already familiar with using Zoom and are proficient with using computers/basic technology. Within the check-in instructions you'll also find screenshots showing the exact step-by-step process for joining the Zoom Meeting as per our check-in process in order to gain entry into the Zoom Meeting. It is the responsibility of all ticket holders to review the email with Zoom Meeting info and check-in instructions prior to the event, and failure to follow the check-in instructions may result in being locked out of the event and forfeiting your ticket(s). Therefore, please be sure to use a valid email address (that you actually check) when checking out and double check for any typos before completing your order. For those who purchase multiple tickets, this information will only be sent to the email address associated with the order, so if that person can no longer attend the event, they will need to make sure they provide the other ticket holders associated with their order with the Zoom Meeting info and check-in instructions. If for any reason you have not received the email with the Zoom Meeting ID, passcode, and check-in instructions at least 48-72 hours prior to the event, please be sure to check your spam folder. If the event is less than 48 hours away and you still don't see the email in your inbox or junk folder, please return to this page and use the "Help" form to contact us or email orders@monicathemedium.com with the the subject line "HAVE NOT RECEIVED ZOOM INFO" and in your message/email, please include the event date that you purchased tickets for as well as the name and email address that was used for the order, and number of tickets that you purchased.




Audience events aren't my jam. Can I please schedule a private oracle card session or mediumship reading with Monica instead?


Sorry, but Monica DOES NOT offer any scheduled one-on-one or private group sessions or readings, nor does she have any sort of waitlist. This applies to both in-person and virtual sessions. However, she does offer opportunities to enter for a chance to win a free private or group reading via the Free Reading Giveaways that she hosts periodically throughout the year. Does Monica mind if ticket holders are snacking or drinking during the event?


If Monica unmutes your microphone at any point during the event, please hold off on eating or snacking until you've been placed back on mute. Otherwise, all ticket holders are more than welcome to enjoy their own snacks / dinner / drinks during the event. However, for those of you in the 21+ crowd who might be sipping on wine or other alcoholic beverages, should you end up being one of the lucky ladies selected to receive some personal oracle & angel card messages from Monica, please be aware that anything beyond 1-2 drinks or a slight buzz can have a negative impact on the quality of your mini oracle-card reading and can make it more difficult for you to connect with the messages.

Questions About Purchasing Multiple Tickets

I would love for my best friend to attend this virtual event with me! Should we purchase our tickets under one order or buy them separately?


Each person that will be attending / watching / listening into this event must have their own individual ticket and must be visibily present behind their webcam. For example, if you would like to have your bestie sitting next to you during the Zoom Meeting, then you MUST purchase two tickets instead of one. However, please note that you and any other ticket holders associated with your order will only be able to join the Zoom Meeting via ONE device and therefore you must all be physically present behind the same computer/laptop or mobile device for the duration of the event. If you would like to have the option to join the Zoom Meeting from separate devices or different locations, then you must purchase each ticket via a separate order / transaction. If you're worried that COVID-19 restrictions or bad weather could ruin your plans to get together in-person with whoever you would like to attend the event with, you might want to just err on the side of caution and purchase separate tickets that way you'll have the option to attend together or apart.




If I later want to add a ticket to my order, will I still receive the multi-ticket discount?


Sorry, but no. The multi-ticket discount is only valid with the purchase of two tickets under a single order / transaction. This discount cannot be applied retroactively or at any point after your order is complete, nor is it being offered for groups who would still like to have the option of attending the event via different devices / locations. If you purchase multiple tickets under the same transaction, then you and the other ticket holder(s) associated with your order will only be able to join the Zoom Meeting via the same single device — to have the option of joining the Zoom Meeting from different devices / locations, you must purchase each regularly priced General Admission ticket under a separate order / transaction. There will be no refunds or partial refunds given should you fail to notice the multi-ticket option until after placing your order. In addition, the discount will not be offered or applied retroactively in the event that you later decide to purchase additional tickets or end up purchasing the tickets separately, only to later attend the event via the same device / location.




I know it says that if we purchase multiple tickets via the same transaction, we will be required to join the Zoom Meeting from the same device / room. But what if I purchased my own individual ticket to this event, and later come to find out that my mom happened to have purchased her own ticket to this same exact event, but via a separate tranaction? Would we still be able to attend the event together, from the same device / room?


Yes, you'll still be able to attend the event together! You'll just have to follow the check-in instructions for your particular scenario, which will be emailed to all ticket holders sent out 48-72 hours prior. In addition, make sure that you both make note of your unique e-ticket numbers (which you'll find on the initial e-ticket confirmation email that you each would have received within moments of placing your orders) as you will both need this information for the check-in process, even if you'll now be attending from the same device / room.




Can I purchase two tickets (one for me and one for my plus one) but swap out my best friend during intermission so that my sister can attend the second half of the event with me?


No. For those who purchase multiple tickets, the ticket holders you check-in with must be the same people with you on the Zoom call for the entire event. You cannot swap out members of your group at any point throughout the event, or you'll be removed from the Zoom Meeting by a member of the MTM Team and would not receive any refunds or ticket transfers.





Questions About Gifting Tickets

Can I purchase a ticket (or multiple tickets) as a gift for someone else?


Yes! However, we recommend that you use THEIR email address for the order to ensure that your gift recipient receives the initial e-ticket confirmation email (which they will need for the check-in process on the day of the event) as well as the email that will be sent out to all ticket holders 48-72 hours prior to the event, with the Zoom Meeting ID, passcode, and check-in instructions. If you use YOUR email address for the order, then YOU will be responsible for providing your gift recipient with their e-ticket code (located on the initial e-ticket confirmation which is sent within moments of completing the order). In addition, you will also be responsible for providing your gift recipient with the Zoom Meeting ID, passcode, and check-in instructions that will be emailed to you 48-72 hours prior the event. Should you forget to notify your gift recipient and/or if for any reason the person you've gifted the ticket to does not receive the Zoom Meeting information / check-in instructions or does not attend the event for any reason, you will NOT receive any refunds or ticket transfers.





Questions About the Final Sale Policy

Am I able to get a refund if I change my mind or am unable to attend the event for any reason?


All ticket sales are final, non-transferable, and non-transferable to any other event. Once you've completed your order, no refunds, partial refunds, ticket transfers, credits, or partial credits will be given if you change your mind or cannot/do not attend the virtual event or are disconnected from the Zoom Meeting for any reason. Refunds only occur if Monica has to cancel or reschedule the event.




What if I can't afford to purchase a ticket?


Please DO NOT put this event before your basic needs. You should not rack up credit card debt that you can't afford in order to purchase tickets. Especially during these uncertain times and/or if you are at all concerned about losing your job / income due to COVID-19, then you should absolutely HOLD OFF on purchasing tickets for the forseeable future. We are unable to make exceptions to our final sale policy. So please ensure you are able to make the financial comittment PRIOR to purchasing tickets. But don't lose hope - Monica hops on spontaneous live streams on Instagram or Facebook a couple days before every event where she randomly selects 1-2 winners to receive free tickets to the event. Make sure you're following @MonicatheMedium so you don't miss out on future opportunties for a chance to win!




I know the sales policy says that tickets are "non-transferable" to any other event. Does this also mean that tickets are cannot be transferred to a friend or family member in the event that I cannot attend?


Should something come up and you're no longer able to attend the event, you are welcome to gift your ticket to a friend or family member and our team will be happy to assist by re-issuing the ticket to that person's email address as long as you contact us at least 72 hours prior to the event via the help form located on this page (be sure to include the original email address associated with your order AND the new email address for who you would like to transfer the ticket to). In doing so, this will ensure that the new ticket holder receives an e-ticket confirmation email (which they'll need for the check-in process) in addition to receiving the email that will be sent out to all ticket holders 48-72 hours prior to the event with the Zoom Meeting ID, passcode, and check-in instructions that they'll need to follow in order to gain entry into the online event. If it's less than 72 hours prior to the event, you can still gift your ticket to someone, however, in that case, YOU would be responsible for

No. This is NOT one of Monica's regular events where she channels Spirit and delivers messages from loved ones who've crossed over. There will be NO mediumship readings during this particular event. To witness Monica give mediumship readings (and have the opportunity to potentially receive one) you would need to purchase tickets to one of her Messages from Above events instead.





Questions Related to ASL Translation

I'm a member of the deaf community. Will there be closed captioning and/or an ASL interpreter during this event?


For privacy reasons, we are unable to offer or provide closed captioning during any of our in-person or virtual events. However, we have had ASL interpreters at past events, with great success. With that being said, due to the additional costs and planning associated with providing ASL interpreters, we ask that you reach out to us with this request PRIOR to purchasing tickets and at least 30+ days prior to the scheduled event. Should you require our team to coordinate, schedule, and cover the cost for an ASL interpreter in order for you to attend one of these events, please do not purchase your ticket(s) just yet. Instead, please email orders@monicathemedium.com with the subject line "ASL Interpreter Request". There's a chance we might already have an interpreter booked for one of the other 2021 Zoom events, in which case, we would hope that date also works for you. But if not, we will do our best to accomocate, however, we we would still need you to get in touch with us prior to purchasing tickets to any event date (whether it be in-person or virtual) to first confirm that we would have enough time to secure an ASL interpreter for you prior to the event. Alternatively, should you require an interpreter and are able to provide your own (ie. you would be in charge of all the coordinating, hiring, and covering any of the interpreters' fees) then we would be more than happy to accomodate a spot for them in the Zoom Meeting, even if it's on short notice. And regardless of whether you or our team hires the interpreter, they will be able to join the Zoom Meeting free of charge (ie. you will not have to pay for an extra ticket in order to have your interpreter on the Zoom call).
